Veruca Salt premiere new track “Empty Bottle” via Noisey

VERUCA SALT are thrilled to premiere “Empty Bottle,” the newest cut off their upcoming album Ghost Notes (out July 10th on El Camino Records). Listen to the soulfully thrashing track via Noisey now, and fall in love with the ’90s grunge legends all over again. Pre-order Ghost Notes here and receive “The Gospel According To Saint Me” and “Laughing in the Sugar Bowl” – the first tastes off the record – as instant grats.

The band – comprised of original members Nina Gordon (guitar/vocals), Louise Post (guitar/vocals), Steve Lack (bass), Jim Shapiro (drums) – will also be hitting the road in July to play the new material in select cities across the country. See below for full tour routing.

Ghost Notes is an amalgamation of everything that made Veruca Salt into a household name from the beginning and then some. It is the first full-length album of new material written and recorded together since 1996. Recorded in Los Angeles, it was produced by Brad Wood, who helmed production for the band’s seminal, platinum-selling debut, American Thighs. All the hallmarks of the well-loved Veruca Salt sound are in Ghost Notes: careening guitars, crashing drums, savory bass lines, and the unmistakable, incredible vocal interplay of the band’s two fearless leaders – Nina Gordon and Louise Post. It is a record of hearts stitched back together and worn proudly on sleeves; a tour de force of friendship, betrayal, desperation, loss, regret, reformation, and redemption.
